Axis appoint new regional development manager for oil and gas in MEA region

Axis communication appoint Meraj Khan as its new regional business development manager for oil and gas and critical infrastructure for the Middle East and Africa 

Axis communications, a leader in the global network video market, announced that they have appointed Meraj Khan as regional business development for oil and gas and critical infrastructre for Middle East and Africa. 

Before joining Axis, Meraj Khan held a number of diverse positions with rich experiences in business development, technical sales, product management, project management and key account management of integrated Telecom & Security System solutions for Oil & Gas and large infrastructure projects across the Middle East.  

“Meraj is highly qualified and brings extensive experience in Oil and Gas and critical infrastructure to Axis. His appointment to the team is in line with our growth and we are confident his experience and knowledge will be critical in leading the network video market with our partners in the region”, said Philippe Kubbinga, regional director, Middle East & Africa for Axis Communications.  

Before joining Axis communications, Meraj worked as a project management consultant for SNC Lavalin, a prominant engineering and project management consultant for the oil and gas sector. He primarily assisted major oil and gas companies in the design and engineering of telecom and security solutions for variety of on and off projects across the Middle East.
