XYZprinting introduces affordable 3D desktop printers in UAE

Taiwan’s XYZprinting has introduced da Vinci 1.0 and da Vinci 2.0 desktop printers to bring cost-effective 3D printing in the UAE market

According to the company, the new desktop printers require no set-up and is an enclosed machine that allows consumers to create thousands of items from bowls and cups to key chains and smartphone cases.

XYZprinting chairman Simon Shen said, “With da Vinci printers we are moving 3D printing to the mainstream market by satisfying a need in the consumer and business segment for a 3D printer that delivers on affordability and usability.”

PRECISE Group will be distributing the product through its regional retail partner Virgin Megastore. The printers will also be available for purchase online.

PRECISE Group president Lothar Hohmann added, “3D printing will change everything. The da Vinci 1.0 is a plug-n-play 3D printer with a large build size designed specifically for students and hobbyist who have a keen interest in 3D printing. With no assembly required, a smart design, unique safety features and easy-to-use cloud system, the da Vinci printers have been designed for a 3D printing experience making it user-friendly across all aspects of the process.”

The da Vinci 1.0 retail price is US$951.50 and da Vinci 2. 0 is priced at US$1,223.75 and comes with one-year warranty.
