Ashtead Technology appoints agent in Middle East

International subsea equipment solutions specialist, Ashtead Technology Offshore, has announced that it has hired an agent in the Middle East as part of its global expansion plans

The Aberdeen-based company has entered into an agreement with Abu Dhabi-based Technical Equipment Services (TES) to promote Ashtead Technology’s full rental equipment range to its customers in the region.

“This agreement greatly strengthens Ashtead Technology’s global offering,” said Allan Pirie, CEO of Ashtead Technology. “Working closely with a well-positioned Middle East partner that has an established reputation for quality service and support means that we can offer a more responsive and flexible local service to both existing and new Middle East-based customers. With resources already in place we are geared for significant growth in the region.”

Ashtead Technology has three offshore supply bases situated in Aberdeen, Houston and Singapore, with other service agents in Norway and Australia.

The company recently moved its Aberdeen headquarters from within the centre of the Scottish city to the nearby subsea centre of Westhill, providing it with further space to provide rental equipment, repair and maintenance services and offshore personnel for clients across the EMEA region.
