From 11-14 November, the MEPC will host senior executives from the oil and gas industry to aid networking and private meetings in an exclusive business setting.

Kimon Alexandrou, commercial director of dmg :: events, said, “When developing the idea for the MEPC, we decided to go to the market and ask them what they wanted. With senior executives from ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, KPC, PDO and BAPCO fully supporting the exclusive club initiative, we knew we were on the right track.”

MEPC will offer guests five-star cuisine and luxury lounge facilities, providing an ideal location for industry decision makers to exchange ideas and strategies.

Research conducted during the planning phase of ADIPEC found that there were an estimated 1,200 senior professionals across the Middle East and North Africa who worked in medium-to-large oil and gas organisations. The idea behind the MEPC was therefore to support networking among this group of professionals.

Salim Al Aufi, former director at Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), who advised dmg :: events on setting up the MEPC, commented, “The primary objective of such a club is to establish and strengthen the social networks between oil and gas executives in the region. It will also serve as an avenue to establish contacts between operators and the service industry.”

Etihad Airways will host attendees and invitees will receive an exclusive VIP MEPC badge. The badge will allow them access to conference plenary and panel sessions, the ADIPEC exhibition area and the Middle East Country Briefing panels.

The MEPC will run daily from 9:30am to 6:00pm on November 11-14 at the ADNEC grandstand area. All members of the Club will be personally invited.
