SNC-Lavalin wins EPC contract for Saudi Aramco refinery

SNC-Lavalin, through their affiliate Saudi Arabian Kentz, has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract by Saudi Aramco for the expansion of asphalt production facilities at its Ras Tanura Refinery

Upon completion of the expansion, asphalt production capacity at the facility will increase from 22,000 barrels per day to 42,000 barrels per day.

The contract will be executed by Saudi Arabian Kentz and is expected to be completed in 18 months.

SNC-Lavalin will provide comprehensive engineering and detailed design, procurement, installation, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning, necessary for the project completion and plant start-up.
