Aqualis Offshore to move rigs for Saudi Aramco

Aqualis ASA’s subsidiary Aqualis Offshore has signed a rig moving service contract with Saudi Aramco

Under the deal, the offshore marine and engineering consultancy will provide offshore rig moving services over the next three years for Saudi Aramco’s jack-up rigs operating in the Gulf.

The value of the contract is, however, undisclosed.

David Wells, CEO of Aqualis ASA, said, “We may be a young company, but our team consist solely of highly experienced personnel with 10-30 years’ offshore experience.

“This experience has secured this prestigious and strategically important contract.”

Aqualis Offshore added that it will support Saudi Aramco with its services and personnel from Aqualis Offshore’s offices in the Middle East region.
