Ezion wins service rig contract

Ezion Holdings Limited has announced that it has secured a charter contract worth US$48.2mn over a three-year period to provide a service rig in the Gulf

The rig would be used by an international oil company to support its offshore oil and gas activities in the Middle East.

It is expected to be deployed and working in the offshore oil and gas fields before the end of 2013, after refurbishment and upgrading.

According to Ezion, the project would be funded through internal resources as well as bank borrowings.
