According to the company, ENOC is one of only three companies in the Kingdom to win the certification, which followed a detailed study by the Ministry to enhance the service standards of fuel stations in the Kingdom.

ENOC recently opened its first full-fledged service station on Khaleej Road next to Dareen Mall in Dammam. This is the first of the many facilities that ENOC plans to open in the Kingdom, following the qualification certification, the company added.

The ENOC service station also marks a first for Saudi Arabia by integrating a number of features including the first ZOOM convenience store. The service station complex, operating 24 hours, has Costa Coffee and Burger King outlets, SABB’s ATM and an oil change facility. A prayer room is also located as part of the service station.

Saeed Khoory, CEO of ENOC, said, “We are committed to deliver on the Saudi Municipal and Rural Affairs Ministry’s goals to provide the highest quality service standards as well as invest in new stations that offer the full breadth of services. This is a true milestone in our geographic expansion strategy to Saudi Arabia, one of the fastest growing economies in the region.”

He added that the opening of the first service station in the Kingdom is a perfect fit to ENOC’s business diversification initiatives. The full spectrum of convenience retail and food and beverage outlets will be offered as part of the service station.

The service station in Dammam provides all fuel-related services and offers Special 91 and Super 95 petrol.

Burhan Al Hashemi, MD of ENOC Retail, said, “We understand the requirements of motorists, and have created several lifestyle experiences within our service station network that add to their convenience. The introduction of ZOOM, an established convenience store network in the UAE that offers high quality products, will be a true game-changer for the fuel service industry in the Kingdom. Our biggest strength is the focus on customer service and therefore every aspect of the station has been designed with the customer in mind.”
