CALGAVIN ready for ADIPEC

CALGAVIN, a leading global heat transfer consulting engineering company, will be exhibiting at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) for the second time, this time on the Arab Development stand

“ADIPEC’s guiding purpose is to be the convening power for the global industry, a platform where the industry’s leading CEOs define and refine their strategic direction,” said Ali Khalifa Al Shamsi, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), the ADIPEC 2018 chairman. 

CALGAVIN will be exhibiting in Hall 5, Stand 5210 and welcomes your visit. As Martin Gough, managing director at CALGAVIN explains, “For more than 35 years CALGAVIN has built up an unrivalled expertise in the thermal design and analysis of process plants. Our engineering team have extensive knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid flow phenomena, combined with global experience providing improvement solutions to hundreds of plants worldwide.” 

The company was founded on the development and sale of the tube-side heat transfer technology hiTRAN Thermal Systems. This success has led to the broadening of the company’s activities to provide a wide range of products and services, all focused on heat transfer optimisation for production whilst minimising both energy use and maintenance costs. 

The company will be discussing in detail the following services it offers in the area of heat transfer enhancement: 

• Analytical Engineering – heat transfer solutions for performance improvement 

• Design Services – using software packages such as HTRI Xchanger Suite, AspenTech EDR & hiTRAN.SP 

• Air cooler troubleshooting – providing solutions for problematic air coolers 

• CFD – tool in identifying problematic conditions that restrict performance.
